Please read these terms carefully before enrolling in any Ratana Path program. They outline mutual expectations and responsibilities so that your learning experience is clear and comfortable.
1. Definitions
Throughout this document, the following terms carry specific meanings:
- "Ratana Path", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Ratana Path, a financial education provider registered and operating in Bangkok, Thailand.
- "Service" refers to any educational program, session, course, or related resource offered by Ratana Path.
- "Participant" or "you" refers to any adult individual who enrolls in or accesses a Ratana Path program.
- "Content" refers to all materials, worksheets, digital tools, guides, and session presentations provided as part of a program.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions, together with any enrollment confirmation and applicable program schedule.
- "Session" refers to a single scheduled class meeting, whether in-person or delivered via video conference.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enrollment inquiry, completing a booking, or attending any Ratana Path session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in any Ratana Path program.
- You confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement under Thai law.
- If you enroll on behalf of another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that individual to these terms.
3. Service Description
Ratana Path provides structured financial education programs designed for adults, with particular attention to those in mid-life and approaching retirement. Programs are offered in Bangkok, Thailand.
Current Program Offerings
- Household Cash Flow Basics — ฿2,900 — 2 evening sessions covering income tracking and daily expense management.
- Property and Real Estate Awareness — ฿8,200 — 3 sessions over two weeks covering property ownership and Thai real estate considerations.
- Retirement Income Architecture — ฿14,400 — 5 sessions over three weeks addressing income planning for later years.
Service Availability
Ratana Path reserves the right to adjust session scheduling, delivery format, or program content based on educational considerations, class size, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Any significant changes will be communicated to enrolled participants in advance.
Geographic Scope
Programs are primarily offered in Bangkok, Thailand. Remote attendance options may be available for certain programs; please inquire directly.
4. Enrollment & Participant Accounts
Enrollment begins when Ratana Path confirms your place in a program following receipt of the enrollment inquiry and applicable payment.
Enrollment Process
- Submit your details through the contact form at ratanapath.com/#contact.
- A member of our team will contact you within one business day to confirm availability and payment arrangements.
- A confirmation message will be sent to your email address once enrollment is complete.
Participant Information
- You are responsible for providing accurate contact and personal information.
- Please inform us promptly if your contact details change.
- Session reminders and materials will be sent to the contact details provided at enrollment.
5. Participant Responsibilities
Acceptable Participation
Ratana Path programs are designed to be respectful learning environments. Participants are expected to:
- Engage respectfully with instructors and fellow participants.
- Attend sessions on time and notify us in advance if you are unable to attend.
- Use provided materials for personal educational purposes only.
- Refrain from recording sessions without prior written consent from Ratana Path.
Prohibited Conduct
- Sharing, reproducing, or distributing course materials to third parties.
- Using the program environment to solicit other participants for commercial purposes.
- Providing false information during enrollment or at any point during the program.
- Behaviour that disrupts the learning experience of others.
6. Intellectual Property
All program materials — including session presentations, worksheets, printed guides, digital tools, and exercise templates — are the intellectual property of Ratana Path.
Participant License
Upon enrollment, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use course materials for your own private financial education. This license does not permit:
- Reproduction or distribution of materials in any form.
- Commercial use of any program content.
- Adaptation or modification of materials without written permission.
Feedback and Contributions
Any feedback, suggestions, or insights you share with Ratana Path may be used to improve our programs. We will not attribute such contributions by name without your consent.
7. Payment & Refund Policy
Pricing
All prices are listed in Thai Baht (฿) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- Household Cash Flow Basics: ฿2,900
- Property and Real Estate Awareness: ฿8,200
- Retirement Income Architecture: ฿14,400
Payment Methods
Payment details will be communicated by our team upon enrollment confirmation. Bank transfer and other local payment options are available.
Refund Policy
- 7 or more days before the first session: Full refund, less any bank transfer fees.
- 3–6 days before the first session: 50% refund.
- Fewer than 3 days before the first session: No refund, though a credit toward a future program may be discussed at our discretion.
- After the program begins: No refund for completed sessions; unused sessions may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
If Ratana Path cancels a program, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to the next available intake.
8. Course-Specific Terms
Attendance
Programs are designed as sequential learning experiences. Attending all sessions within a program provides the best educational outcome. If you need to miss a session, please notify us in advance. Make-up arrangements are at our discretion and subject to availability.
Materials
Physical take-home materials (such as the tracking journal included in the Household Cash Flow Basics program) are provided at the first session. Digital materials are shared via email following each session.
Completion Recognition
Participants who attend all sessions of a program receive a completion acknowledgement from Ratana Path. This is a record of participation, not a licensed qualification or professional certification.
Program Adjustments
Ratana Path may adjust session topics or sequence to suit the learning pace and needs of each group. Core content objectives remain consistent across all intakes.
9. Disclaimers
Ratana Path provides educational programs intended to improve general financial literacy. Our programs are offered as informational resources, not as professional financial advice.
- Nothing within our programs constitutes licensed financial planning, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice.
- Participants are encouraged to consult qualified licensed professionals before making specific financial decisions.
- Outcomes from applying program knowledge vary based on individual circumstances, effort, and external factors.
- Ratana Path makes no representations about specific financial results that any participant will achieve.
- All programs are provided in good faith and with care, but without warranty as to completeness or suitability for any particular financial situation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, Ratana Path's total liability to any participant arising from or in connection with a program shall not exceed the amount paid by that participant for the relevant program.
Ratana Path shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.
- Financial decisions made by participants based on program content.
- Losses resulting from factors outside Ratana Path's reasonable control, including changes in Thai financial regulations or market conditions.
Force Majeure
Ratana Path is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, public health situations, government orders, or infrastructure disruptions. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected sessions.
11. Termination
By Participant
You may withdraw from a program at any time by notifying Ratana Path in writing. Refunds will be processed in accordance with Section 7.
By Ratana Path
We may remove a participant from a program, without refund, if their conduct is found to be disruptive, disrespectful, or in breach of these terms. We will discuss the situation with the participant before taking this step wherever possible.
Survival
Sections relating to Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Dispute Resolution survive the end of any program enrollment.
12. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.
Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal process, we kindly ask that you contact us directly at [email protected] to discuss any concern. We are committed to resolving disagreements through open, respectful conversation wherever possible.
Consumer Protection
Nothing in this Agreement limits rights you may hold under Thai consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 and its amendments.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: This Agreement, along with any enrollment confirmation, represents the full understanding between you and Ratana Path regarding your participation in a program.
- Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
- Assignment: Ratana Path may transfer its rights and obligations under this Agreement in connection with a business transfer. Participants may not transfer their enrollment without prior written consent.
- Notices: Formal notices should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to our address at 33 Ratchadaphisek Road, Huai Khwang, Bangkok 10310, Thailand.
14. Changes to Terms
Ratana Path may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website and note the revised effective date at the top of this page.
For participants currently enrolled in a program, material changes will be communicated directly by email. Continued participation in the program following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
