In Their Own Words

"I'd been putting off thinking about our household budget for years because I found it overwhelming. The two evenings were enough to give me a clear starting point. The tracking journal is something I still use every week — it's become quite a habit."

"The property sessions were genuinely educational — not a sales pitch, which was a relief. I came in with quite a lot of questions about the legal side of buying property as a Thai national and left with a much clearer picture. The educator was patient throughout."

"I'm 54 and had never really sat down to think about retirement income in a structured way. The five sessions felt manageable — not rushed at all. The income projection model they prepared for me has been a reference point for conversations I've had since with my bank."

"I took the Cash Flow Basics program with my husband. We've both been working for over twenty years and somehow never put together a clear picture of our monthly situation. It was a bit of a surprise to see the patterns. The discussions in the room were helpful too — we weren't the only ones."

"I appreciated that the property program didn't try to tell me whether to buy or not. It just laid out everything I needed to know to make my own decision. I've now had a more informed conversation with a real estate agent than I ever had before — and I knew what questions to ask."

"I've attended financial seminars before and they always ended with someone trying to sell you something. This was completely different. Three weeks of sessions, small group, no pressure. The concepts were explained well and the educator was genuinely happy to go back over things when needed."

Three Participant Journeys
These accounts illustrate how different adults have engaged with the programs — the challenges they came with, and what shifted after completing the course.
Household Cash Flow Basics · Bangkok
The Starting Point
A couple in their late 40s — both working — who felt consistently uncertain about where their monthly income went. They were paying bills without difficulty but had no clear sense of patterns or whether they could afford larger purchases.
The Program
Both attended the two evening sessions together. They worked through the recording framework and, by the second evening, had a clear view of three recurring spending categories they hadn't previously identified.
What Changed
Four months after the program, they reported using the tracking journal consistently and having redirected a meaningful portion of their monthly outgoings toward a savings account they had not previously maintained.
Property Awareness · Bangkok
The Starting Point
A retired teacher, aged 62, who had inherited a small property and was considering whether to sell it or rent it out. She felt uncertain about the legal implications and had received conflicting advice from family members.
The Program
The three property sessions gave her a grounding in Thai land title types, rental income considerations, and how property values are assessed. She attended with her adult daughter, which made the discussions particularly useful.
What Changed
She said the program helped her ask far more specific questions when she subsequently spoke to a property lawyer — the conversation felt different when she understood the terminology and what was actually at stake.
Retirement Income Architecture · Bangkok
The Starting Point
A 51-year-old professional who planned to stop full-time work at 60. He had a general sense that he needed to "plan for retirement" but hadn't found a clear framework for thinking it through.
The Program
Over five sessions across three weeks, he worked through pension structures, dividend basics, and annuity options. The income projection model prepared for him included four different income stream scenarios for the period from age 60 onward.
What Changed
He described the projection model as a "reference document I actually use" — he had taken it to a meeting with his financial advisor and used it to structure the conversation around specific questions rather than general concerns.
